Online and at the studio · Breathe, release, expand
Rebirthing
Return to the freedom and authenticity you knew as a child, with an open heart to explore new possibilities. Breathe, release and expand. Let go of what the past left in you, or simply open to more of who you are.
Group online session Private session Is it right for you?
What it is
The body’s wisdom, unlocked by breath
Deeper, conscious breathing carried by evocative music lets you move beneath the thinking mind and access the body’s remarkable wisdom. It loosens the armour of held emotion and gently releases old patterns, even ones the mind isn’t aware of. Many people come for release, others simply to expand their awareness. Both are welcome here.
The benefits
What it opens up
Relief from stress and anxiety
A nervous system that finally gets to exhale.
A lighter emotional load
Gently release what you’ve been carrying for years.
Trust your inner guidance
Hear your own wisdom more clearly, and live with more clarity and purpose.
More at home in your body
Feel present, grounded and alive in your own skin.
Deeper connection with others
More openness and presence with the people you love.
Energy and joy of living
Rediscover the vitality and lightness you may have forgotten.
Real people, real change
For me, Rebirthing brought an enormous expansion of consciousness, and I can say it changed my life!
“Through the breath you reconnect with yourself, with your own being. It lets you take charge of your mind, without your thoughts interrupting you.”
How it works
A guided journey
A gentle beginning
Live on Zoom, about 2 hours, in four steps. We open with a talk that explains the work. Once you’ve come 2 or 3 times, you’re welcome to skip it if you wish.
Breathwork
A deeper, connected breath carried by powerful music.
Integration
Coming back gently, in your own time.
Sharing
Space to share with the group from the privacy of home. Optional, but suggested.
Your session, step by step

What to have ready
- A quiet space where you can lie down or sit comfortably, with room to move
- A blanket, a pillow, and an eye mask if you like
- Tissues and water close by
- Headphones and a stable internet connection, with Zoom installed in advance
Your space and privacy
Put your phone on silent and let others at home know not to interrupt you. If someone is nearby, they simply hold the space and only step in if you ask.
Food and drink
It’s best to come with an empty stomach. If possible, fast for about 3 hours before your session, but always respect your limits. Please don’t combine the session with alcohol or recreational drugs.
Come without expectations
There is no right way for a session to go. Trust your own process and let it show you what’s ready.
How you breathe
A connected, circular breath: no pauses between the inhale and the exhale, with the belly rising as you breathe in. I guide you at the start, and you can breathe through the mouth or the nose.
What you may feel in your body
Tingling, warmth or cold, or some stiffness in the hands or face are common and natural. They pass. If anything feels too strong, simply slow your breath.
Emotions and memories
Tears, laughter, sound or old memories may come up. Let them move through you without judging them. This is how the body lets go.
Calm and expansion
Many people reach a deep stillness, a sense of lightness, or a feeling of connection with something larger than themselves.
What if nothing seems to happen?
That’s fine. Every session is different. Stay with whatever is there, even frustration or boredom, and keep breathing.
What if it gets too much?
You are always in charge. Slow your breath back to normal, rest, or send me a message in the chat. I’m with the group the whole time.
The music
Carefully chosen music carries the journey, building in intensity and then guiding you gently back to calm.
Sharing and confidentiality
Sharing is optional. What others share stays in the circle, and sessions are never recorded.
Take it slowly
Listen to your body and take your time. Avoid driving straight away.
Be gentle with yourself
You may feel more open or sensitive for a few days. That’s part of the process. Give yourself extra care and quiet time.
Ways to integrate
Write in a journal, notice your dreams, walk in nature, stretch or dance. Simple things help what opened up to settle.
Wait before big decisions
Give yourself about a week before making major life choices, and talk them through with someone you trust.
Support after your session
If questions or feelings come up in the days after and you’d like to talk them through, write to me at hi@devakranti.com.
Your safety first
Is Rebirthing right for you?
Rebirthing is a deep, active breathing practice. It can bring strong physical sensations and intense emotional release. That is where its power comes from, and it is also why it isn’t right for everyone. Please read this list before you book, and click any condition to see why it matters.
Physical health
Heart conditions, including a past heart attack
Deep, fast breathing and strong emotional release raise the heart rate and add real strain on the heart. With a heart condition, or after a heart attack, that extra load can be risky.
High blood pressure not controlled by medication
Blood pressure can rise during intense release, crying or vocal expression. If it is already high and not under control, this could become dangerous. If medication keeps it in a normal range, it is usually fine, but please check with your doctor.
Aneurysm, personal or in your close family
An aneurysm is a weak spot in a blood vessel. The pressure created by strong breathing, crying out or physical release could put stress on it. A close family history counts too, because aneurysms can run in families and often go unnoticed.
Epilepsy, seizures or a history of stroke
Fast, deep breathing lowers carbon dioxide in the blood and changes how the brain receives oxygen. This is a known trigger for seizures, and it can also be a risk after a stroke.
Glaucoma or a detached retina
Effort and strong emotion can raise the pressure inside the eyes and head. With glaucoma or a fragile retina, this may harm your sight.
Pregnancy
Rebirthing changes your breathing and blood chemistry and can bring strong physical release. Its effect on the baby has not been studied, so we wait until after the birth and your recovery.
Blood thinners
With blood thinners, any bump or small injury bleeds more easily, and sessions can include strong spontaneous movement. The conditions they treat are also often sensitive to changes in blood pressure.
Recent surgery or serious injury
Release can come with tension, shaking or strong movement. Wounds, stitches or healing injuries could reopen or get worse. Wait until you have fully healed and your doctor gives you the all-clear.
Asthma
You can take part. Strong breathing can sometimes bring a tight chest, so keep your inhaler close and slow down whenever you need.
Mental health
Bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
Rebirthing works in expanded, non-ordinary states and can stir very strong emotions. For people with these diagnoses, it can trigger a manic or psychotic episode, and the effects can last well after the session ends.
A psychiatric hospitalisation or serious emotional crisis in the past 10 years
Deep breathwork can bring old pain to the surface quickly. After a serious crisis in recent years, it may open up more than feels safe to hold, without the support you would need afterwards.
PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)
PTSD is a condition that can follow a very frightening or painful experience, such as an accident, violence or loss, where the body and mind stay on alert long after it ended. In a session, traumatic memories can come up strongly and feel very real. That can be healing, but without a therapist supporting you before and after, it can also re-traumatise. If you are working with a therapist and they agree, you are welcome.
Any other condition that would make intense physical or emotional release unsafe for you is also a reason not to take part. If you’re unsure, please check with your doctor first.
The waiver you sign before your first session covers the same list, so you confirm it once and then simply come and breathe.
